Congratulations to the artists listed who have been accepted into the 3rd Annual AOY Juried Show! Juror David Shevlino selected 81 pieces from 395 works submitted. It is always difficult to select works from so many wonderful pieces for display in a limited space. AOY would like to thank all who entered for their continuing support of the organization and invite artists and their guests to the Opening Reception on Friday, April 4 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Drop off is Sunday, March 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday, March 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. All work is to be hand delivered to The Art Center, 949 Mirror Lake Road Yardley, PA.
Selected artwork must be wired, framed (if media applicable), and ready to hang (no saw-tooth hangers) with wire. If canvas is unframed it must have finished edges with no visible staples. No clips or plastic poster frames accepted. Entered and accepted work cannot be substituted. AOY reserves the right to reject work delivered at the time of the exhibition that differs from the artist's accepted work or not suitably presented. All work must be available for the duration of the exhibition.
Contact information (see prospectus for labels) must be on the back of all pieces. Please bring a bio and/or artist statement at delivery.

Tres Compadres is a modern flamenco ensemble that explores the boundaries of flamenco and fusion while embracing the elements of tradition that make this genre of music such an incredible art form. Inspired by such notable artists as Paco de Lucia, Gerardo Nunez, Tomatito, and Vicente Amigo, Tres Compadres continues the legacy of seeking new ways of applying musical growth to an old tradition. A treat for the ears as well as the eyes as one of their beautiful dancers captivates audiences with the dance of the gypsy.
Since the release of their debut cd Que Pasa, Tres Compadres has been winning over music fans around the globe. Tres Compadres entered the top ten twice in Our Stage competions in 2008, in the categories of World Music and Solo Guitar Performance. 2009 brought in a nomination for best flamenco song from the international JPF music awards, and their version of Chick Corea's Armandos Rumba has been well received in several countries around the world.
